I would suggest the Press Herald republish the Sept. 1 commentary by Rep. Robert W. Nutting regarding Gov. Paul LePage (“Judge Gov. LePage on his full record and the many ways he’s helped the state”). You could also put it on the front page, where it belongs.
For all those politically correct folks, along with your paper, who jump up and down and hoot and holler about the governor and how embarrassing he is, there is a larger group of hardworking Mainers who are quietly walking around with a grin on their face because they know that what Nutting writes is all that really matters about Paul LePage.
He is working hard for them! He is doing what he promised us he would! These are the people who have elected him twice and would elect him again, if they could.
