SACO — Grace Decker scored a pair of goals and Cat Henaire had a goal and two assists for Thornton Academy in a 4-1 field hockey win Tuesday over Windham.

Taylor Ouellette opened the scoring for the Golden Trojans (4-0-1) off a cross from Henaire at 18:32. Decker added a goal with 5:06 left in the half, again assisted by Henaire.

Henaire redirected the rebound of an Abby Pomerleau pass to make it 3-0 early in the second half, and Decker scored on a penalty stroke.

Julia Libby scored a late goal for Windham (2-2).

PORTLAND 2, DEERING 0: Sydney Gilbert scored both goals, one in each half, as the host Bulldogs (2-3) shutout the Rams (0-5) at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

Jenni Nguyen assisted on Gilbert’s first-half goal at 16:36. The second-half goal came on an unassisted breakaway.

Maddie Pettengill recorded six saves for the shutout. Lillian Frager stopped nine shots for Deering.

WESTBROOK 1, BIDDEFORD 0: Alex Phelps scored with 2:48 remaining to lift the Blue Blazes (3-1) over the Tigers (2-2) in Westbrook.

Avery Tucker assisted on Phelps’ goal.

Biddeford goalie Taylor Wilde recorded seven saves. Kimmy Goddard of Westbrook stopped three shots.

CHEVERUS 3, SANFORD 2: Sophia Pompeo broke a 2-2 tie with 7:42 remaining as the Stags (4-1) edged the Spartans (1-4) at Sanford.

Caroline Ford’s goal late in the first half gave Cheverus a 2-0 lead.

Kyleigh Cote scored twice in a span of 54 seconds in the second half to pull Sanford even.

GORHAM 4, NOBLE 0: Mercy Dunn scored two goals to lead the Rams (3-1-1) past the Knights (0-5) in North Berwick.

Dunn put the Rams ahead with 2:55 remaining in the first half. Grace Dewitt, Erin Esty and Dunn scored in the second half, and Karen Stemm finished with two assists.

SCARBOROUGH 9, BONNY EAGLE 0: Lily Nygren scored three goals and also had an assist, and Liz Callahan contributed a goal and an assist as the Red Storm (3-2) cruised past the Scots (0-4) at Scarborough.

Rachel Paradis, Kristen Levesque, Ashley Levesque, Carrie Timpson and Tansey Hughes also scored.

BONNY EAGLE 3, PORTLAND 0: Whitney Regan scored eight consecutive points in the third game to lead the Scots (3-1) to a sweep over the Bulldogs (2-2), 25-19, 25-17, 25-11.

Shayla Eubanks had three blocks and two kills for Portland.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 3, WELLS 0: The Panthers (3-0) won three straight games – 25-18, 25-20 and 25-19 – against Warriors (2-2) in Yarmouth.

Kait Schott recorded eight assists, two aces and a kill for Wells, and Michelle Desjardins had two aces and two kills.

GORHAM 3, SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Diana Kolb had seven kills and four aces to lead the Rams (3-1) over the Red Riots (1-3) in Gorham, 25-8, 25-16, 22-25 and 25-14.

Kristen Curley had 10 kills and Isabelle Kolb recorded 14 assists for Gorham.

Molly Mawhinney had 10 kills to lead South Portland, while Kayla Brown contributed 18 assists and Shannon Murphy had four kills.

SCARBOROUGH 3, WINDHAM 0: Libby Chadbourne had 10 service points and Natalie Simonton contributed five kills to lead the Red Storm (3-1) to a 25-17, 25-8, 25-7 win over the Eagles (1-3) in Scarborough.

Cassie Fleck had five digs, four kills and three aces for Windham, and Sammie Gosselin added six digs.

KENNEBUNK 3, GARDINER 0: Kaila Thomas played a strong match at the net and Emily Hickey and Britta Brown each put together service runs to lead the Rams (1-3) past the Tigers (1-3) at Kennebunk, 25-13, 25-12 and 25-8.

MARSHWOOD 3, LAKE REGION 1: Jenn Gray had 12 digs, five kills and two service aces as the Hawks beat the Lakers in South Berwick.

Marissa Sewell chipped in with seven digs and two kills, and Sarah MacDonald had nine assists for Marshwood, which won 25-8, 25-18, 15-25, 25-15.

DEERING 3, YORK 0: Maddy Broda recorded 13 assists and eight aces, and Kaylee Helmick had 10 kills and 11 aces for the Rams (3-1) in a 25-9, 25-18, 25-15 win over the Wildcats (1-3) in Portland.

Dianne Dervis added 13 kills.
