BRUNSWICK — Marilyn Joan Coffin age 82 of the Horizon’s Living and Rehabilitation Center died peacefully Thursday, September 22nd with her family by her side.

She was born in Topsham on July 29, 1934 the daughter of Evelyn “Delight” Nickerson and attended Brunswick schools.

On October 4, 1953 she married Clarence W.P. Coffin. He died November 14, 2015.

Marilyn worked at McDonald’s in Bath for five years, making salads and running the breakfast buffet after raising four children.

Marilyn enjoyed going on bus trips, gardening and berry picking. Sunday drives through the countryside were her favorite.

Surviving is her daughter’s Cathie Dauphin and her husband Maurice of Phippsburg and Elizabeth Coffin of Brunswick. A son, Clarence Coffin of Brunswick. Also survived by four grandsons, four great granddaughters and two great grandsons.

In addition to her husband Clarence and her mother Delight she was also predeceased by a son Bradley and step brother Ashton.

There will be no services at her request. Interment will be at a later date in New Meadows Cemetery, Brunswick.
