BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High School boys seventh-grade soccer team scored three goals in the second half to pull away for a 5-1 win over Gardiner.
Simon Paledski scored on a penalty kick, and Jacob Musica finished off a pass from Ollie Bateman to give the Huskies a 2-1 halftime lead.
Brunswick goaltender Kyle Delong shined in net.
Musica struck again in the second half for a 3-1 Brunswick lead, and and Musica set up Matty Duhaine for a three-goal advantage. Gus Silverman completed the scoring for the Huskies.
Brandon Dorogi scored the lone goal for Gardiner.
Tommy Labbe and Matt Poulton were solid in the midfield for Brunswick, along with Paledski and Max Rudgers.
Brunswick takes on Mt. Ararat today.
