A pistol stolen from a home in Lebanon has been recovered from a York County pawn shop, and two people are charged with its sale.
The 9 mm semiautomatic Smith & Wesson was reported stolen Aug. 23 and quickly pawned at the York County Trading Company in Sanford.
Police issued a warrant for Todd Cushman, 28, of Springvale, who was charged with receiving a stolen firearm, a Class-B felony. Cushman was arrested Aug. 24 and posted $310 bail.
In the course of the investigation police learned that Cushman received the weapon from Kayla Keith, 28, of Springvale, who is banned from local pawn shops for having pawned stolen property before.
Keith was located by Maine State Police Sept. 29 and arrested on Mill Street in Springvale.
She is being held at the York County Jail on $1,560 bail.
