DURHAM, N.H. — Casey Crowley’s shot from the right wing beat charging New Hampshire goalie Kelsey Rudert 2:27 into overtime, giving Maine a 3-2 win over the Wildcats in an America East field hockey game Sunday.

The Black Bears (9-4, 2-1) took a 2-0 lead 15:03 into the game on goals by Danielle Aviani and Samantha Wagg. Ashley Mendonca scored to bring New Hampshire (3-9, 1-3) within a goal in the first half and Jessica Schmidt tied it with less than two minutes to play in regulation.

Emily Cochran and Emma Cochran combined for five saves for Maine. Rudert blocked two for UNH.

COLBY 7, ENDICOTT 2: McKayla Blanch had a goal and two assists as the Mules (5-6) cruised to a win over the Gulls (7-6) in Waterville.

Hannah Hearn, Meredith Keenan, Danielle Smith, Merrill Read, Kallie Hutchinson and Anna Rudinski also scored for Colby. Sophia Cogliano and Melanie Kaleta scored for Endicott.

BOSTON COLLEGE 5, MAINE 1: Delaney Belinskas had four goals as the Eagles (3-1-1, 2-0 Hockey East) beat the Black Bears (1-5, 0-2) in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

Terra Vanisova scored to give Maine a 1-0 lead in the first period. Bridget McCarthy also scored for BC.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

BINGHAMTON 2, MAINE 1: Michele Gavin curled a corner kick over Black Bears goalie Samantha Cobotic, breaking a 1-1 tie with 10:08 left and lifting the Bearcats (5-8-2, 1-4) past Maine (6-6, 2-3) in Binghamton, New York.

Rachel Parsons also scored for Binghamton. Kate Evans scored to tie the game for Maine.

BATES 4, HUSSON 0: Cassidy McCarns scored twice as the Bobcats (3-8-1) beat the Eagles (6-6) in Bangor.

Hannah Behringer and Torri Pelletier also scored for Bates. Angela Daigle and Kayla Gordon combined for six saves for Husson.

MEN’S SOCCER

BOWDOIN 2, COLBY 0: Jake Stenquist and Matt Dias Costa both scored as the Polar Bears (6-3-2, 2-3-1 NESCAC)) beat the Mules (3-6-2, 1-4-2) in Brunswick.

Noah Safian had six saves for Bowdoin, while Avery Gibson stopped 10 shots for Colby.

FOOTBALL

GEORGIA 28, SOUTH CAROLINA 14: Nick Chubb ran for 121 yards and two touchdowns and the Bulldogs (4-2, 2-2 SEC) won in Columbia, South Carolina.
