CAPE ELIZABETH — Nicolai Sabbatini had a goal and two assists Tuesday night to lead Cape Elizabeth to a 4-1 victory against Freeport in a Western Maine Conference schoolboy soccer game.

Owen Thoreck gave Cape Elizabeth (10-2-1) a 1-0 lead with 13:56 left in the first half from Sabbatini. Jacob Allen scored unassisted nine minutes later to give Cape a 2-0 lead at halftime. Sabbatini found Elliott McGinn midway through the second half to make it 3-0, then put in an unassisted goal five minutes later. Eriksen Shea scored a late goal for Freeport (6-6-1).

WAYNFLETE 3, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: The Flyers (6-4-2) scored three unanswered goals to cruise by the Hawks (5-5-2) at Portland.

Brendan Burnell scored off a corner kick from Ritchie Watson after 10:15 for Sacopee Valley, but Ian McClure answered on a free kick 9:24 later for a 1-1 halftime tie.

Ilyas Abdi gave the Flyers the lead with 10 minutes to play on a rebound off the keeper and Asker Hussein made it 3-1 less than three minutes later.

Matthew Day turned aside seven shots for the Hawks. Luca Antolini stopped five shots for Waynflete.

WELLS 2, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Liam Bell scored unassisted in the first half and the Warriors (5-6-1) went on to edge the Raiders (4-8) at Fryeburg.

Will Zeliff stopped three shots for Fryeburg Academy. Cameron Cousins made six saves for Wells.

GORHAM 6, WINDHAM 1: Jackson Fotter scored four goals as the Rams (10-0-1) cruised past the Eagles (2-9) at Gorham.

Ryan Hamblen added a goal and an assist for Gorham, while Sam Burghardt had a goal and Ethan Orach an assist. Zach Defosse scored for Windham.

BONNY EAGLE 5, NOBLE 1: Ryan Moody scored twice in the first half, one on a penalty kick, as the Scots (3-7-1) opened a 4-0 lead and downed the Knights (4-8) at Standish.

Zac Allocca scored from Ben Steeves for Bonny Eagle, and Caleb Pendleton and Regan McCleary added unassisted goals.

Duncan McGilvery answered for Noble.

Noah Safford stopped 13 shots for the Knights. Brady Grass, Connor Redlon and Moody combined for eight saves for Bonny Eagle.

SCARBOROUGH 2, MARSHWOOD 0: Marc Gurette and Cam Thibault scored to lift the Red Storm (9-3) over the Hawks (7-5) at Scarborough.

Gurette opened the scoring after 3:42 from Justin Perry and Thibault added a goal 23 minutes later from Noah Drapeau.

Chris Franklin made three saves to record the shutout. Sam Leathe finished with seven saves for the Hawks.

SOUTH PORTLAND 1, MASSABESIC 0: Charlie Cronin scored from Princeil Kunieki midway through the first half and the Red Riots (10-3) held off the Mustangs (2-11) at South Portland.

Riley Hasson made five saves to record the shutout. Joshua Castonguay finished with 11 saves for Massabesic.

SANFORD 2, CHEVERUS 1: Isaac Plante took a feed from Patrick Morris and scored after three minutes, and the Spartans (5-6-1) defeated the Stags (4-9) at Portland.

Joshua Webber made it 2-0 after 8:25 of the second half before Luke Dionne scored an unassisted goal for Cheverus 4:47 later.

Marcus Gould turned aside six shots for the Spartans. Harrison Bell had a pair of saves for the Stags.

CAMDEN HILLS 1, MESSALONSKEE 1: Dylan Labun tied the game for Messalonskee (6-4-2) against Camden Hills (8-3-1) at Oakland.

Jack Moore assisted on the goal. Chase Warren made six saves for Messalonskee.

Havanna Lyman scored and Lucas Boetsch stopped four shots for the Windjammers.

WISCASSET 2, CARRABEC 1: Russell Marr scored twice and Conlon Ranta had 16 saves to lead the Wolverines (7-4) over the Cobras at North Anson.

RICHMOND 14, PINE TREE ACADEMY 2: Matt Rines had a three goals and an assist to lead the Bobcats (10-1) over Pine Tree Academy (2-9) at Richmond.

Cody Tribbet and Nick Adams each added two goals and two assists, and Matt Holt had two goals. Nate Kendrick, Zack Marseglia, Ford Strout, Trystin Shea and Mason Blake also scored, and Zach Small and John Paradis combined for 12 saves for Richmond. Evan Owen stopped 15 shots for Pine Tree.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 1, GARDINER 1: Cam Bell scored with 1:30 left in regulation to help the Tigers (4-7-1) salvage a tie with Lincoln Academy (6-3-3) at Gardiner.

Connor McGuire finished with six saves for Gardiner.

Nate Simmons scored and Sam Laemmle stopped 10 shots for Lincoln.
