SOUTH PARIS — Connor Truman hit Ethan Bourgoin for an 8-yard touchdown in overtime, and safety John Bowen sealed the win with an interception in the end zone as fourth-seeded Oxford Hills/Buckfield outlasted No. 5 Edward Little 26-20 in a Class A North quarterfinal Friday night.

Oxford Hills (5-4), which lost to Edward Little (3-6) on a last-play touchdown in the regular season, will travel to top-seeded Portland next weekend.

Dawson Stevens led the Oxford Hills offense with three rushing touchdowns, including an 80-yard rumble late in the second quarter.

Tyler Blanchard had a pair of third-quarter touchdown runs for Edward Little, and Maxx Bell added a 6-yard touchdown run.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 20, FREEPORT 14: Dylan Webster scored the tiebreaking touchdown on a 33-yard run early in the third quarter as the fourth-seeded Phoenix (6-3) edged the fifth-seeded Falcons (4-5) in a Class C South quarterfinal in Livermore Falls.

Freeport converted two Spruce Mountain turnovers into touchdowns in the first half, but a Freeport fumble on the opening drive of the second half led to Spruce Mountain’s winning touchdown.

Freeport took an early lead after Spruce Mountain lost a fumble at its own 16. A 7-yard run by quarterback Josh Burke put the Falcons ahead 6-0.

Spruce Mountain answered with a 72-yard drive, capped by Webster’s 4-yard run. Caulin Parker’s 2-point conversion gave the Phoenix an 8-6 lead.

Kayle Stewart added a 13-yard TD run in the second quarter to make it 14-6, but a fumbled punt set up a 1-yard TD plunge by Burke. Connor Dostie’s 2-point conversion tied the game.

DIRIGO 14, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 7: Cooper Chiasson’s 16-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter gave the fourth-seeded Cougars (5-3) a 14-point lead, and they held off the No. 5 Seagulls (3-5) in a Class D South quarterfinal in Dixfield.

Dirigo took an 8-0 lead on a 20-yard touchdown pass from Luke Lueders to Cam Turner with 3:34 left in the first half.

The Seagulls scored on a 61-yard touchdown pass from Dylan Boudreau to Dylan Creswell with 5:44 remaining.

MCI 37, MT. VIEW 7: Adam Bertrand rushed for two touchdowns and Josh Buker got his seventh punt return touchdown of the season as the Huskies (9-0) closed out a perfect regular season with a win over the Mustangs (5-4) in Pittsfield.
