Briefly, many details excluded here. I am a physician. Health insurance has been astronomically costly, but just became 16.5 percent of my income, like many other middle-class folks. I am exempt from buying it. A physician.
You tell me, folks, how one can afford this? And why would anyone in their right mind go into primary care?
Someone needs to stop the insanity, the millions in profits of the insurers whining about their inability to pay claims, the gouging drug companies and others, and do the right and difficult thing in Washington and make health care affordable.
Not one incumbent anywhere gets my vote for any reason until they step up and do the really hard work the middle class of this country needs.
