A 29-year-old man from Portland has been charged with two counts of indecent conduct for allegedly exposing himself twice to women on a hiking trail in Falmouth.

Andrew T. Young, of Lester Drive, was charged with two counts of indecent conduct, a Class E misdemeanor.

Young allegedly exposed himself on Sept. 15 and Oct. 11 along trails in the Blackstrap Road Preserve.

Falmouth police Lt. John Kilbride said information provided by citizens helped detectives identify Young, who was issued the summonses Friday after he agreed to come to the police station to be interviewed.

Young was not arrested and booked into jail because the crimes he is accused of committing are misdemeanors, and they did not occur in the presence of an officer.

Young is expected to be arraigned Dec. 15 in Portland Unified Criminal Court.
