Anna K. Volkorez, 90, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Brunswick She was born May 21, 1926 in Yugoslavia to Matthew and Maria Bebrovic. Anna grew up and attended schools in Yugoslavia. On June 7, 1952, she married Victor K. Volkorez in Rijeka, Yugoslavia. In 1952 she and her husband moved to Italy and in 1956 they immigrated to the United States settling in Newark, NJ. In 1963 they moved to Bowdoinham and 1969 they moved to Brunswick.

She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brunswick, was a servant of the cross and enjoyed attending Sky-Hy Adult day care in Topsham. Anna also enjoyed arts & crafts, music, reading, knitting, sewing, dancing, singing and playing her guitar.

Anna is survived by her children, Konstantin Volkorez and his wife Joan, Victor Volkorez Jr. and Maria Larsh all of Florida, Angelina Vaillancourt and Katarina Lafuente of Topsham, Natalia Tardiff and her husband Henry of Brunswick and Anna Volkorez of Augusta, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a sister and a brother in Croatia, many nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives may call from 6-8pm Thursday. Nov. 3, at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St. in Brunswick. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am, Friday Nov. 4, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brunswick.
