Although I’m a longtime Hillary Clinton supporter, I am not unhappy that she lost. Now, she and Bill can take a well-earned rest and get relief from all the right-wing TV and radio vitriol that would surely have raged on, along with unreasonable opposition from the Republican-controlled House and Senate.
I am truly willing to give Donald Trump a chance. Hopefully he will convince Republicans in Congress to finally pass the bigger infrastructure bill (more jobs) that they denied for President Obama.
And as Trump and congressional Republicans kill Obamacare, hopefully they will replace it with a legitimate plan – other than returning to the old, uncaring insurance system of no coverage for pre-existing conditions and no coverage for the poor.
