A Brooklyn, New York, man has been sentenced to 11½ years in prison for distributing heroin.

Todd Rasberry, 35, also known as “Champagne,” was also sentenced to three years of supervised release. He was sentenced Friday in federal court in Portland by U.S. District Judge Jon D. Levy.

Rasberry was arrested in July 2015. Federal agents learned that heroin was being delivered to Portland and confronted the person making the delivery, then learned that the heroin came from a man in a motel room in Scarborough. They went to the motel, seized 51 grams of heroin, packaging material and a digital scale, and arrested Rasberry.

Rasberry pleaded guilty to the charge in June.
