POLAND — Daniel Randall bought the shotgun he used to kill his daughter and himself from a gun shop on Route 26 last Thursday, WCSH-TV reports.
Joe Cimino, the owner of Top Gun, has confirmed to WCSH that Randall bought the gun around noon on Dec. 8, the same day he used it to shoot and kill his daughter Claire.
Cimino told WCSH that the gun shop conducted a full FBI background check on Randall and there were no red flags. But Cimino added that if he knew about Randall’s recent stay at an alcohol recovery facility, he never would have sold him the gun.
