Two people have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery Friday night at the Big Apple convenience store on Pleasant Street in Brunswick.
Police said the store clerk called to report that a woman showing a handgun robbed the store at 9:06 p.m.
Surveillance video led police to Dunlop Street in Brunswick, where they arrested Jacqueline Carpenter-Young, 21, of Bath. A short time later, police arrested Shawn Cook, 37, of Brunswick, the alleged driver in the robbery.
Police recovered the suspected vehicle, handgun and stolen money. The amount was not disclosed.
Carpenter-Young and Cook were being held on $10,000 bail at Cumberland County Jail.
