Air Force Airman Paige N. Lara has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Lara also has earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
A 2014 graduate of Gorham High School, Lara is the daughter of David and Tabitha Lara and granddaughter of Catherine and Rodolfo Lara, all of Gorham.
Air Force Airman Wesley D. Henderson has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Henderson also has earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force, with distinction as an honor graduate.
A 2009 graduate of Mount Ararat High School in Topsham, Henderson is the son of Kenneth D. and Angelia C. Henderson of Lexington Park, Maryland, and husband of Kimberly J. Henderson of Bowdoin.
