Jordan Mynahan scored an unassisted goal on a wraparound after 3:49 of overtime Wednesday to give Lewiston/Monmouth Academy/Oak Hill a 5-4 victory against Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete/South Portland in a girls’ hockey game at Troubh Arena.

After Veda Leclerc scored a power-play goal from Anna Dodge early in the first period for the Blue Devils (4-4-1), Sophia Venditti tied it unassisted later in the period.

Leclerc and Dodge teamed up again, and Nele Loo added a goal from Audrey Roy and Jaylin Cloutier in the second period as Lewiston took a 3-1 lead.

Olivia Randall made it 4-1 after 3:13 of the third before the Capers (4-5) responded with a pair of goals in 12 seconds from Kate Ginder and Venditti.

Eliza Connolly tied it with 38 seconds to play in regulation.

EDWARD LITTLE/LEAVITT/POLAND 3, FALMOUTH 2: Brianna Doucette scored unassisted 1:35 into overtime to lead Edward Little (6-1-1) past the Yachtsmen (8-2) at Falmouth.

Devon Sarazin opened the scoring for Falmouth from Abby Lebel at 7:55 of the first period and Reade Carmichael made it 2-0 from Evie Clement early in the second. Mariah Vaillancourt then scored twice to tie it.

boys’ hockey

BIDDEFORD 5, NOBLE/WELLS 0: Colin Lavigne scored three straight goals for the Tigers (3-1) against Noble (2-3) at Rochester, New Hampshire.

Colin Petit had a goal and an assist, Joey Curit added a goal and Curtis Petit had two assists.

Nate Paul stopped 45 shots for the Knights. Justin Larnerd needed 11 saves for the shutout.

SCARBOROUGH 4, EDWARD LITTLE 1: The Red Storm (3-3-1) opened a 3-0 lead and defeated the Red Eddies (1-4) at Auburn.

Patrick Clonan opened the scoring for Scarborough from Justin Perry and Anthony Burnham after 54 seconds, and Brett Rockey added a goal from Sotero Giftos and Eric Murray later in the first period.

Perry made it 3-0 unassisted 8:51 into the third before Eli McBride answered for Edward Little from Logan Alexander just 24 seconds later.

Skylar Pettingill rounded out the scoring for Scarborough with an unassisted goal.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

GORHAM 75, MASSABESIC 40: Emily Esposito scored 22 of her game-high 31 points in the first half as the Rams (6-0) rolled past the Mustangs (0-6) at Gorham.

Mackenzie Holmes added 19 points for Gorham.

McKenzy Ouellette led Massabesic with 21 points, including three 3-pointers.

SACOPEE VALLEY 40, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 7: Helen Ruhlin scored 10 points as the Hawks (2-5) beat the Guardians (2-3) at South Hiram.

Haiden Sawyer and Bailey Smith each added six points for Sacopee, which led 23-2 at halftime.

RANGELEY 30, PINE TREE ACADEMY 22: Natasha Haley had 16 points, including 10 of 10 from the foul line, as the Lakers (5-1) downed the Breakers (3-1) at Freeport.

Alexandra Goodman led Pine Tree Academy with 11 points. Emily Schlisner added six.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 46, ST. DOMINIC 41: Katherine Larson had 15 points for the Panthers (2-4), who used a 15-4 second-quarter advantage to take the lead for good against the Saints (1-5) at Yarmouth.

Maddie Larson had 13 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, and Lindsay Tufts added 12 points for NYA.

Chloe Dwinell scored 16 points for St. Dom’s.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 44, CAPE ELIZABETH 21: Mackenzie Buzzell scored 10 points for the Raiders (4-3), who opened with an 18-5 run and beat the Capers (0-6) at Cape Elizabeth.

Nicole Bennett added eight points for Fryeburg, which led 27-10 at halftime. Erin O’Rourke scored seven points to lead Cape Elizabeth.

WAYNFLETE 56, TRAIP ACADEMY 33: Christian Brooks had 14 points and 11 rebounds as the Flyers (5-1) downed the Rangers (2-4) at Portland.

Yai Deng chipped in with 12 points, and Jack Meahl had 10 points and 11 rebounds for Waynflete, which led 34-18 at halftime. Andrew Davis and Joe Cavanaugh each scored six points to lead Traip Academy.

SACOPEE VALLEY 59, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 56: Cameron Cyr scored a team-high 24 points and the Hawks (2-5) scored all seven points in overtime from the foul line to edge the Guardians (3-3) at South Berwick.

Alex Mudgett added 12 points for the Hawks.

Sacopee led 46-40 after three quarters but Seacoast outscored the Hawks 12-6 in the fourth and made it 52-52 with 30 seconds left in regulation on a bucket from Caleb La Croix.

CAPE ELIZABETH 53, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 32: Finn Bowe scored a game-high 15 points, including eight in the first quarter, as the Capers (4-2) took a 16-6 lead and cruised past the Raiders (4-3) at Fryeburg.

Andrew Hartel had 11 points and Maxwell Peterson chipped in 10 for Cape Elizabeth.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 57, ST. DOMINIC 24: Jake Malcom and Chandler Waldron each scored 13 points, and the Panthers (2-4) outscored the Saints (0-6) 17-1 in the second quarter at Yarmouth.

Malcom grabbed eight rebounds, Waldron had six steals, and Haven Cutko added 12 points and six assists for the Panthers, who led 34-7 at halftime. Riley Volpe scored 10 points to lead the Saints.

YARMOUTH 73, POLAND 37: Nolan Hagerty scored 10 of his game-high 22 points in the first quarter and the Clippers (6-1) took a 43-20 halftime lead to down the Knights (2-5) at Poland.

Aleksander Medencia chipped in with 12 points for the Clippers. Kurtis Leighton led Poland with 10 points whileCaleb Hodgkin added nine.
