Raised in Biddeford, she graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1949. She and Richard resided on Graham Street in Biddeford for 60 years, enjoying summers at their cottage at Hills Beach, and winters in Venice, Florida after Richard retired. A homemaker, Lucia worked part time at the family store, Pepin’s Market.

Lucia enjoyed sewing, entertaining and playing cards with friends, bowled in the Hiccup Bowling League, was a member of Dutch Elm Golf Course and the Southern Maine Ladies Golf Association. She was proud of the hole-in-one she got at the York Golf and Tennis Club in 1985, as she was the only family member among avid golfers to do so. She and Richard also enjoyed traveling to places including Bermuda, The Canary Islands, Hawaii, Telluride, Colorado, Jamaica, St. Lucia, and many other Caribbean islands.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Those who wish to can make a donation, in her honor, to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
