Lincoln Theater in downtown Damariscotta will launch its new “Exhibition on Screen” series on Saturday at 2 p.m. with a look at “ The Curious World of Hieronymus Bosch.”

“The Curious World of Hieronymus Bosch” features the exhibition “ Jheronimus Bosch — Visions of Genius” at Het Noordbrabants Museum in the southern Netherlands, which brought the majority of Bosch’s paintings and drawings together for the first time to his home town of Den Bosch and attracted almost half a million art lovers from all over the world. After 500 years Bosch’s paintings still shock and fascinate us. Here is an opportunity to delve into the vivid imagination of this true visionary.

Tickets are $ 15 for adults, $ 13 for Lincoln Theater members and $5 for Youth 18 and under and can be purchased ahead of time through the theater’s office or starting one hour before the show. The three other offerings in the series include “ I, Claude Monet” on Saturday, March 18; “ The Artist’s Garden: American Impressionism” on Saturday, April 1; and “ Michelangelo Love and Death” on Thursday, June 15.

Additional information on all of the programs in the Exhibition on Screen series can be found on the theater’s website at www.lcct.org or by calling the office at (207) 563-3424, open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lincoln Theater is located at 2 Theater Street in Damariscotta.
