FREEPORT — Freeport Community Services’ Annual White Nights “Keep the Light On” gala celebration will be held Jan. 28 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Freeport Community Center., 53 Depot St.

The event helps provide funding for services for Freeport and Pownal families, including a food pantry, fuel and emergency assistance and summer camp scholarships.

The evening will include food donated by local restaurants, music by Gary Wittner and a collection of live and silent auction items with auctioneer Jay Flower. Auction items include cottage and camp stays, tickets to restaurants, sporting events and shows, adventures and experiences, artwork an L.L. Bean paddle board and a piece of furniture by Thos. Moser.

FCS will hold its online component of White Nights from Jan. 25-31 via BiddingforGood.com.
