Hannah Strickland was named a portfolio manager at Penobscot Wealth Management.
Strickland, a graduate of George Washington University’s School of Business, will be based in the firm’s Portland office. She most recently worked at Foster Victor Wealth Advisors in South Carolina. She lives in Portland.

The Jackson Laboratory has hired Jason Irwin as a controller and Kate Homer as a senior manager of financial planning and analysis.
Irwin most recently served as controller at Central Vermont Medical Center.
Homer previously served as senior manager of financial analysis at SomaLogic, Inc., a life sciences and clinical diagnostics company.

York County Community College has hired Stephen Paulone as a faculty member in the business department.
Paulone brings more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing, marketing and finance. He taught for almost 20 years and was previously a faculty member, director of graduate business programs and educational consultant.

Kathy Akopov joined Infinite Credit Union.
Akopov previously worked for Kittery Premium Outlets as the director of marketing and business development. Prior to that, she worked as director of marketing and development at PAWS Atlanta for four years.

Lucas Dunbar has joined the business insurance division of L.S. Robinson Co.
Dunbar is a native of Southwest Harbor and new to the insurance industry. He is following in the footsteps of Lawrence Robinson, his great uncle who founded the agency in 1932. Most recently, he and his father ran two Sears Hometown stores in Newport and Ellsworth.

David Kitchen joined the The Maine Real Estate Network in Yarmouth as an agent.
Kitchen has served on the Maine Real Estate Commission since 1993.
Michael Dubois, Michael McManus, Diane Cote, Bud Stoddard and Sandra Legere joined as agents in Sanford.

Dubois began his real estate career in 1977 and previously owned and operated his own office for several years.

 

 

Cote brings more than 40 years of experience in real estate sales throughout Southern Maine.

 

 

Stoddard is a successful entrepreneur who founded eight different companies in the information management and data storage industry. Most recently, Stoddard became a venture partner in The Adrenaline Fund. He is a licensed real estate sales associate.

Legere started her real estate career in 1978 and worked at the local board of Realtors and Multiple Listing Service for 17 years.

 

 

Carrie Lewis was named the general manager of the Portland Water District.
Lewis is a well known and nationally respected leader in the water sector. She previously worked at Milwaukee Water Works. In 1997, she was appointed to lead the agency, serving as the first woman superintendent in the utility’s 144-year history.

F.L. Putnam Investment Management Co. named Abby Psyhogeos as senior vice president and private client advisor. She will be based in Portland.
Psyhogeos joins F.L. Putnam from Bainco International Investors in Boston, where she spent nearly 30 years working with high-net-worth clients.

The Park Danforth has hired Lindsay Fisher as director of human resources.
She previously served as senior human resources business partner for the clinical divisions of Spectrum Medical Group. She brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic human resources.
