President Trump and his chief strategist, Stephen Bannon, have stated their intent to restore Judeo-Christian values to our country. I’m not sure they’ve looked at the First Amendment guaranteeing separation of church and state, part of the U.S. Constitution, which President Trump has sworn to uphold.
Nonetheless, how, I wonder, do they reconcile their alleged Judeo-Christian values with their actions on immigration, in particular the decision to deny entry to the U.S. to people with legal residence status and valid visas?
Matthew 25:40: “The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’ ”
