BRUNSWICK

Brunswick police say a 20-year-old Warren man has died from his injuries after he was hit by a vehicle on Mill Street Sunday night.

Shortly after 8 p.m., Brunswick police, fire and EMS responded to the collision on Mill Street.

Police say Caleb Maxham, 20, of Warren was crossing Mill Street from the southern shoulder.

Maxham, who was dressed in dark clothing, was struck by a westbound 2015 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Kyle Feltis, 31, of Brunswick after he exited Route 1.

“There was no crosswalk and the area was dimly illuminated,” a press release from Brunswick Police Cmdr. Thomas Garrepy states.

Brunswick Rescue transported Maxham to Maine Medical Center where he was pronounced dead Monday morning, according to police.

The incident is under investigation by the Brunswick Police Department and its collision reconstruction unit.
