When I moved to Maine and bought a house in Lewiston, one of the first things I did was subscribe to the Press Herald. Since then, I can’t help but notice all the negativity and bias against conservatives.

You constantly allow opinion columns and letters that contain false information, like the Feb. 4 letter by Bart Chapin. He wrote that the ku klux klan (I refuse to use capital letters for this hate group) now “has friends” in the White House. That is a lie – the letter is obviously against President Trump.

I am one of those who want to see this country come together, and all those hate-filled columns and letters do not help toward it. When will you all learn? President Trump had a very elegant lifestyle and he gave it up to work long and hard (without pay) for the American people and save our country. Do you not want it? If so I would suggest you begin to edit what you publish and print the truth.

I, for one, will not be buying your paper when my subscription runs out, which is soon. I’m wondering if this will be printed, we’ll see.
