ALBANY

Tiana-Jo Carter 6-2 junior forward from Naples

Carter led Lake Region to three straight regional titles and the Class B state championship in 2014. She was a Miss Maine Basketball finalist in 2014, averaging 18.3 points and 14.7 rebounds.

At Albany, Carter was an America East All-Rookie selection in 2015 and the conference’s Sixth Player of the Year in 2016. This year, Carter is averaging 6.2 points and 3.9 rebounds. She has 112 career blocks – sixth-best on Albany’s all-time list.

BINGHAMTON

Kylie Libby 6-foot senior guard from South Portland

Libby helped Cheverus High reach its first Western Class A final in 2013 and was named an SMAA All-Star.

At Binghamton, Libby started seven games and played in 55 out of 61 games as a sophomore and junior, but her playing time has dropped this season and she has appeared in only 13 games.

Kristin Ross 6-foot senior forward from Gorham

Ross was a four-year varsity player for Gorham and was a Miss Maine Basketball semifinalist her senior season, when she averaged 15.3 points and 9.3 rebounds.

At Binghamton, Ross became a regular player her sophomore season. This year, she has started 15 of 25 games and averages 11 minutes.

MAINE

Maddy McVicar 5-4 sophomore guard from Calais

McVicar led Calais to the Class C state championship her junior season in 2014 and was a two-time Maine Sunday Telegram All-State selection. She was a Miss Maine Basketball semifinalist in 2015, and averaged 22 points in her high school career.

At Maine, McVicar sat out the 2015-16 season, saving a year of eligibility. She has appeared in 11 games this season, including a six-point effort against Vermont.

Sierra Tapley 5-8 freshman guard from Bar Harbor

Tapley helped Mt. Desert Island reach the Class B state championship game in 2014 and led the Trojans to an undefeated regular season in 2014-15. She was a Miss Maine Basketball semifinalist in 2016.

At Maine, Tapley has not played, which likely means she will be considered a redshirt and will maintain four years of eligibility.

NEW HAMPSHIRE

Kristen Anderson 5-7 senior guard from Greene

Anderson and her older sister, Courtney, led Leavitt High to the Class B state championship in 2011, and Kristen was a finalist for Miss Maine Basketball in 2013 after averaging 24.9 points, 7.2 rebounds. 5.7 assists and 5.3 steals.

At UNH, Anderson has been a four-year regular, either as a starter or coming off the bench. This season, she has started 14 games and leads the team in assists (120) and is second in 3-pointers (30).

Sarah Clement 5-8 freshman guard from Falmouth

Clement was on two Class A state championship teams as a freshman and sophomore at McAuley High. A series of knee injuries limited her in her final two high school seasons.

At UNH, Clement’s recovery from knee surgery has been slow. She has not been cleared for basketball activity.

Ashley Storey 6-3 sophomore guard from Cumberland

Storey led Greely High to the Class B state championship in 2015 and was named Miss Maine Basketball after averaging 20.6 points and 10.4 rebounds.

At UNH, Storey was an America East All-Rookie team pick last season. This winter, she’s the first post player off the bench, averaging 5.1 points and 4.3 rebounds.
