SUBARU OF NEW ENGLAND presents Coastal Humane Society with a donation of $10,000 on Tuesday. As part of the Subaru Love Promise, Subaru of New England launched its second annual #SNELovesPets fundraising campaign during the month of October 2016 as a way to raise awareness of animal health, safety, and happiness. Subaru of New England vowed to donate $5 for every pet picture uploaded and tagged with #SNELovesPets on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook by pet owners and advocates. “Subaru of New England’s commitment to supporting shelter pets is inspiring and their generosity will help us care for the 3,300 dogs, cats and critters that come through our doors every year at our two facilities. Their donation will help us care for these animals; providing them with food, medical care and comfort. More importantly, it will help us continue to get 98% of these animals out of our shelters and home to stay,” said Joe Montisano, Executive Director for Coastal Humane Society and Lincoln Country Animal Shelter. Standing, left to right: Jane Siviski (Marketing Manager), Patrick Winther (SNE), Brittney Kunst (Animal Care Technician), Joe Montisano (exeuctive director, CHS and LCAS), Abby Malone (Foster Coordinator and Animal Care Technician).
