PORTLAND — The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, announce that the Boston Celtics have assigned Jordan Mickey to Maine. Mickey is expected to be in uniform tomorrow when the Red Claws take on the Erie Bayhawks. Additionally, the Celtics have recalled Demetrius Jackson from Maine.

Mickey has played four games for the Red Claws this season, averaging 18.8 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game. Last season, Mickey played 23 games with the Red Claws, averaging 17.4 points, 10.3 rebounds and a NBA D-League leading 4.4 blocks per game. He was named an NBA D-League All-Star and D-League Player of the Month for December 2015.

Jackson, who returns to Boston, has played 27 games with Maine, averaging 15.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game in the NBA D-League.

The Celtics enter the home stretch of the regular season, and will take on the Brooklyn Nets tonight and will play again this weekend.
