What do you think about letting the Maine Turnpike Authority build a controlled-access dual highway from about Bowdoinham on Interstate 295 to the Penobscot Narrows Bridge?
Make it a toll road, E-ZPass preferred. It would be less than 75 miles, relieve traffic on Route 1 and make Washington County much more accessible.
I think it’s time and financially feasible.
