“Hey there, I’m Lem, a four-year old Terrier/ American Pit Bull mix. I’m strong, agile, and energetic. Also, I’m bilingual — I’m from Puerto Rico originally and I could teach you how to bark in Spanish. My old life there was pretty rough, and I still get nervous. So my caretakers here at Coastal say I need someone who’ll be patient and give me lots of attention and exercise. We could have so much fun taking long walks, playing fetch, and it would be super, super great to learn a sport like agility or flyball. I’d be best as an only dog — other animals and small kids can make me feel overwhelmed. Come to Coastal and meet me. I’m just hanging out on our Dog Adoption floor and waiting for you!”
