BRUNSWICK

Brunswick is seeking interested citizens to serve on the newly created Fire Station Task Force, a subcommittee of the town council.

The task force will explore opportunities for the regionalization and delivery of fire and emergency medical services, recommend a location and review programming needs for a new Brunswick Central Fire Station. They will also review financing options, operational costs and total cost impacts of a proposed recommendation and is expected to report to the Town Council periodically.

The task force will consist of three Councilors appointed by the Town Council Chair and four citizens, interviewed and nominated by the Appointment Committee. Any Brunswick citizen who would like to apply to be a member of the Fire Station Task Force may pick up an application at the town clerk’s office at 85 Union St. or use a fillable form on the Town of Brunswick’s website.
