Re: The magnanimous David Rockefeller (“Billionaire philanthropist David Rockefeller leaves over $25 million to Maine institutions,” April 28):

Well, now, a “philanthropist” donates millions to Maine institutions, but not much is really known by the average citizen about his dark politics. Apparently, the left loves the wealthy globalists such as George Soros, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Peter Sutherland, Jean-Claude Juncker, John Podesta, the Clintons, Barack Obama, our very own Donald Sussman and, of course, the Rockefellers … as long as they promote progressive causes at the expense of our national interests.

I’ll bet most people don’t realize that John D. Rockefeller Jr., in addition to donating 11,000 acres to create Acadia National Park, also donated the land on which that “fine” institution, the U.N., is built.

With all the money they have in hidden trusts, the Rockefeller family is, in all likelihood, worth five to 10 times David Rockefeller’s estimated $3 billion fortune. Unfortunately for those who believe in U.S. exceptionalism and our Constitution, the family constantly assaults traditional Christian social values and is actively engaged in the push for open borders, refugee resettlement, secret trade deals that dilute U.S. sovereignty, abortion and homosexual marriages.

Here is a direct quote from the 2003 memoirs of David himself (Page 406): “Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

Oh, those pesky Koch Brothers! With any leftist-Marxist agenda, it’s best to follow the money. Although the name sounds lofty and noble, my bet is that the Global Development Fund is much more nefarious than it appears in print in the Press Herald.
