CUMBERLAND — Will Neleski pitched a five-hit shutout and Dylan Fried drove in all the runs as Greely defeated Sacopee Valley 3-0 in a Western Maine Conference baseball game Wednesday.

Neleski walked one and struck out five, and Fried broke a scoreless tie in the third inning with a single for the Rangers (7-1).

Fried added a two-run single in the fifth to make it 3-0. Cameron Cyr had three hits for Sacopee (2-6).

FALMOUTH 8, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Cam Guarino threw six shutout innings for the Yachtsmen (8-0), who pulled away with a five-run fourth inning to beat the Patriots (3-5) at Falmouth.

Guarino allowed four hits and struck out nine, and Griffin Aube hit a two-run triple as part of the five-run inning that broke a scoreless tie.

Reece Armitage went 2 for 4 with a triple and an RBI, and his brother, Robby, drove in two runs and struck out the side in the seventh to end it. Zachary Mann had a hit for Gray-New Gloucester.

YARMOUTH 9, LAKE REGION 2: Chris Romano went 4 for 4 and scored three times for the Clippers (5-2), who totaled five runs in the sixth inning, including a two-run single by James Waaler, against the Lakers (2-5) at Yarmouth.

Waaler finished 3 for 3 and drove in three runs, and Gibson Harnett added a single and double for Yarmouth.

Luke Waeldner of the Clippers went six innings, surrendering no hits with five strikeouts.

WESTBROOK 3, BIDDEFORD 0: Kyle Champagne threw a two-hit shutout as the Blue Blazes (5-3) beat the Tigers (3-4) at Westbrook.

Champange struck out four and walked two, and Derek Higgins and Kyle Hebert each had RBI singles in the sixth inning to give Westbrook a 3-0 lead.

Evan Paquette of Biddeford allowed one run and struck out four in four innings.

CHEVERUS 5, WINDHAM 3: Dominic Casale singled home two runs during a three-run third inning and Jack Mullen threw a complete game as the Stags (7-0) held off the Eagles (3-5) at Portland.

Mullen allowed three runs on seven hits, striking out five, and Griffin Watson added two hits for Cheverus, including a double. Bryce Afthim drove in two runs for Windham and Chris Naylor allowed four runs on six hits, striking out five in five innings.

YORK 5, KENNEBUNK 2: Dawson Gundlah’s leadoff homer in the bottom of the fourth inning broke a 2-2 tie, and Chris Neilson and Tim MacDonald added sixth-inning RBI singles as the Wildcats (5-2) defeated Kennebunk (2-8) at York.

Riley Linn led York with three hits and two runs. Shane Pidgeon also had three hits and MacDonald two.

Jack Kiley had two of the five singles allowed by Jack Kelley of the Wildcats.

THORNTON ACADEMY 5, SCARBOROUGH 2: Brogan Searle-Belanger had two hits, and also drove in a run during a three-run first inning, as the Trojans (5-3) held off the Red Storm (4-3) at Saco.

Eric Clum Russell added two hits, and Luke Chessie allowed one earned run on seven hits, striking out nine for Thornton.

Jack Clark of Scarborough allowed three earned runs on eight hits, striking out five. Nolan Lamontagne and Cameron Seymour each added two hits for the Red Storm.

NOKOMIS 1, OCEANSIDE 0: Josh Perry pitched 62/3 shutout innings and hit a two-out RBI triple in the fifth inning to lead the Warriors (7-0) past the Mariners (4-3) at Thomaston.

Perry allowed four hits and struck out eight, and also had three hits. Brad Allen doubled for Nokomis and scored on Perry’s triple.

Logan Sheridan of Oceanside allowed a run on six hits, striking out seven. Michael Dougherty had two hits.

Brendan Tinsman of Cape Elizabeth celebrates with teammates after hitting his second home run of the game. Tinsman finished with four hits and scored four runs.

CAPE ELIZABETH 10, FREEPORT 0: Brendan Tinsman homered twice and drove in four runs, and Brett McAlister had four hits and three RBI as the Capers (5-3) cruised past the Falcons (3-4) at Freeport.

Tinsman had four hits and scored four times, and Sean Agrondia pitched five shutout innings for Cape, allowing three hits and striking out four. McAlister doubled twice and tripled.

Colby Wagner had three hits for Freeport.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 10, WAYNFLETE 2: Galen Arnold had a pair of hits, including a home run, for the Panthers (3-4), who built a 10-2 lead and handled the Flyers (0-5) at Portland.

Jackson Lindscott had a double and a single for NYA, and Haven Cutko and Chandler Waldron each added two hits.

Nick Hagler had a pair of singles for Waynflete.

HALL-DALE 7, BOOTHBAY REGION 2: Akira Warren’s bases-loaded, bases-clearing double in the sixth inning broke open a close game and led Hall-Dale (5-2) over the Seahawks (1-4) at Boothbay Harbor.

Alec Byron pitched a three-hitter for Hall-Dale with 10 strikeouts. Scott Babcock doubled for Boothbay.

LACROSSE

GORHAM 17, MASSABESIC 1: Cameron Wright had four goals and four assists for the Rams (5-2), who opened a 9-0 halftime lead and beat the Mustangs (2-3) at Gorham.

Alex York added four goals and two assists for Gorham. Garrett Stubbs scored for Massabesic.

SOUTH PORTLAND 22, WESTBROOK 5: Ross Myers had three goals and an assist as the Red Riots (4-1) defeated the Blue Blazes (1-5) at South Portland.

Mitchell Adams added two goals and three assists, Aiden Schifano had two goals and an assist, and Sean Scott scored twice for South Portland.

Grayson Post led Westbrook with two goals.

Quinn Watson stopped seven shots for the Red Riots. Ochan Ogak made eight saves for the Blue Blazes.

CAPE ELIZABETH 16, YARMOUTH 0: Ben Carroll and Jim Boeschenstein scored three times each as Cape Elizabeth (4-1) shut out the Clippers (3-3) at Yarmouth.
