I saw the most terrible baseball game the other night between the Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles. There were many errors (three in one inning), two players occupying the same base and other faux pas as well.

Another thing that caught my attention was the players sitting in the dugout, most of them chewing and spitting on the ground in front of them. Are they chewing tobacco or something else? I’m sure that the television viewers didn’t appreciate seeing that.

Why do they keep the cameras on these chewers and spitters for such a long time? Are the players in competition with each other? I think the whole thing is disgusting!
