UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF TROOP LEADERS Dawn Grimes and Gladys Szabo, Girl Scout Troop 1644 recently delivered over 200 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to Spectrum Generations’ local Meals on Wheels recipients through their cookie share program. The Girl Scouts are pictured here with Meals on Wheels coordinator Casey Henson, center. More than 30,000 meals were delivered last year in the greater Brunswick area by volunteer drivers. The meals are prepared by Spectrum Generations at their Cohen Center in Hallowell, brought to the People Plus Center on Union Street, and then distributed by the volunteer drivers to over 140 recipients.
