“Hi, I’m Matilda, an 8-year-old domestic shorthair up for adoption at Coastal Humane Society. I’ll be honest — sometimes I don’t play well with others. I am prone to overstimulation around other critters, so I’d love to be an only child. I am a very independent kitty who needs a very experienced cat owner who can read my body language. I would prefer not to live with young children who are not able to read my expressions, but I may do well with teens/young adults as long as they respect me and play by my rules. I LOVE catnip! I like to say hello and am generally very sweet on my own terms, I just have a sassy edge — just to keep it interesting.”
