WELLS — For the first time, Kennebunk-based nonprofit BlixxHorses will be appearing at the Wells Hampton Inn and Suites, 900 Post Road at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 23.

The presentation is part of the organization’s program called “Education in a Casual Setting,” which allows the public to be introduced to horses in the comfort of a familiar setting.

The objective is for participants to experience their gentle, calming nature and to learn some basic information about horses in a controlled environment.

The experience positively impacts socialization of horses which are typically only seen in boarding or showing facilities and also allows BlixxHorses to reach people who would otherwise never have been introduced to horses.
