SANFORD  —  Police have seized  more than three pounds of of cocaine  and heroin — said to be worth more than $140,000 —  a sawed-off shotgun, $35,000 in cash and more in raids Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night at a home on Nason Street.

State drug agents said drug dealers from Lawrence and Lowell, Massachusetts would come to Maine and sell cocaine and heroin by the pound to Nathan Frechette, 39, of 19 Nason St. whom they allege, would then resell the drugs.

The arrests of Frechette and Pedro Igyedi, 21, and Yarlin Garcia, 24, both of Lowell and Luis Rosario-Diaz, 21, of Lawrence came after a two month investigation, said Commander Scott Pelletier of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.
