BRUNSWICK — Maine’s most famous Civil War figure — Joshua L. Chamberlain — is the subject of the popular biannual event, Chamberlain Days, hosted by Pejepscot Historical Society,

Aug. 11-13 in downtown Brunswick. The weekend of festivities includes the Third Maine Regiment encampment on the Mall, a variety of talks and tours, a Civil War trivia night, live music, 19th century crafts and games for kids and more.
