BRUNSWICK — At the July 19 AARP Coffee & Conversation, Patricia Oh, a lead author of “The Maine Guide – Building Livable, Age-Friendly Communities” will discuss the steps necessary to begin creating communities to help older residents us age in place.

The event will take place at the Coastal Landing Retirement Community at Brunswick Landing, from 11 a.m to 1 pm, July 19. All are welcome. Coffee and a cookie will be compliments of AARP.

Oh will discuss the eight domains of livability which include Outdoor Spaces and Buildings, Transportation, Housing, Social Participation, Respect and Social Inclusion, Civic Participation and Employment, Communication and Information and Community Support and Health Services.
