Attempts to destroy the Affordable Care Act have nothing to do with health care. They have everything to do with the Republican leadership dead set on erasing any legacy that a former president – who happen to be a man of color – may have accomplished while in office.

Republicans in Congress had seven years to help correct any perceived flaws in the legislation, but that would have meant they would lose their unquenchable desire to loudly proclaim “Mission accomplished!”

There’s an old saying that if you want to hear God laugh, tell him of your plans. The chuckles are getting louder.
