As part of the ceremony, TruChoice President Ken Acker presented Biddeford Director of Recreation Carl Walsh with a $1,000 check for Biddeford Parks and Rec.
This donation kicks off a commitment by TruChoice to donate $100 for each $10,000 they save their Biddeford members through loan refinancing and debt consolidation.
“This support means the world to us,” says Walsh. “There are so many children in the Biddeford community who can’t afford to attend summer camp or after school programs. This donation will allow Biddeford Parks and Rec to get more kids involved and put them on the path to healthy and active lifestyles. We appreciate TruChoice’s gift to our community.”
