BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Stan Lee was the subject of a love fest Tuesday night that was broadcast into over 150 movie theaters across the country.

Chris Hardwick hosted the “Extraordinary: Stan Lee” tribute at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills. The two-hour program featured live appearances, video tributes and an animated history of his comic-book career.

Actors Mark Ruffalo, Aisha Tyler and Kaley Cuoco and filmmakers RZA and Morgan Spurlock were among the stars thanking the 94-year-old Marvel Comics legend for creating a vast universe of superheroes, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk and Thor.
