CAMDEN

Walk at state park beckons mushroom aficionados

As part of the Coastal Mountains Nature Program series, Nicholas Repenning, a Maine Mycological Association member and mushroom enthusiast, will lead a mushroom-focused walk from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Steven’s Corner in Camden Hills State Park.

The past two summers have been extraordinarily dry in the state and, with a normal amount of rain this summer, we should see an abundant crop of fungi. Contact Polly Jones at 236-7091 or pollyj@coastalmountains.org.
