The Mt. Ararat High School girls soccer program is scheduled to hold a benefit car wash at Tire Warehouse at the Topsham Fair Mall on Saturday.

The car wash benefits the family of Gardiner soccer player Taby Hembree, who was injured last week in a car crash on the way to school and later died from her injuries.

Eagles head coach Chad Kirk coached Hembree at Gardiner and has known the family for several years.

The car wash will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations will be collected by Mt. Ararat players and coaches, with proceeds going to the Hembree family.

For more information, contact Kirk at 557-2070.
