She was born in Biddeford on July 8, 1941, a daughter of Leopold and Augustine (Gagne) Langevin. She was educated from St. Joseph’s High School.
On May 7, 1960, Claudette married her husband Roger. She was employed by local merchants which included 25 years at Zayres, Rich’s Department Store and Hallmark Cards.
Claudette was an avid reader and enjoyed music, knitting, and word search puzzles.
She liked to bake and was an accomplished seamstress, always making her children’s clothes. She was very proud of her family and cherished the time spent with them.
Claudette was a member of the YMCA and attended St. Margaret’s Church weekly.
She was predeceased by one brother, Richard Langevin.
She is survived by four children – Susan Tucker and her husband Karl of Biddeford, Daniel Cote of Ocean Park, James Cote and his wife Sara of Pittsburgh and Glenn Cote of Biddeford. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Keatz Tucker and Dante Allen, one sister Dolores Guilbault, and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, with a Funeral Service at 1 p.m. at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James St., Saco. Burial will be at a later date.
