BIDDEFORD — Michael N. Boisvert, 62, of Biddeford died unexpectedly on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017.

He was born March 6, 1955 in Biddeford a son of Norman R. and Rachel (Larose) Boisvert. He was educated locally, graduating from Biddeford High School in the Class of 1974.

He was an extremely hard worker from the time he was a young man, just able to work, until the time he passed; He often worked two jobs or more to make sure his family was well taken care of. He worked at Biddeford Textile for nearly 30 years, then, in 2003 he was able to fulfill his lifelong dream when he bought Super Sub Shop in Biddeford.

Michael had been a member of the Biddeford and Saco Elks Lodge # 1597. He enjoyed fishing, camping, card playing, cooking. He loved his kids and friends dearly as they loved him. He enjoyed spoiling his one and only grandson Gino, or, as he called him G-man. He also enjoyed entertaining, cars, and his dogs: Princess, Gidget, and Charlie. He had the kindest heart and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

He is predeceased by a sister Diane Campbell and his beloved niece, Cathy Jo Sylvain.

He is survived by a daughter, Briann Boisvert, her partner Cory Sabatino, and their son Gino Sabatino; a son, Brandon Magno of Kennebunk; five sisters: Joann Gifun and her husband Michael of Florida, Jackie Jackson and her husband John of North Carolina, Theresa Sylvain and her husband Norman of Biddeford, Penny Binette and her husband David of Biddeford and Cathy Page and her husband Gary of Lebanon; his dear friend Jeffery Irwin of Biddeford; his ex-wife Barbara Boisvert; and several nieces and nephews.

There is a hole in our hearts that will never be filled; no words can express how much he will be missed.

Visiting Hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5.
