Children can have the opportunity to come show off their costumes in a parade at the Lisbon Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 3-5:30 p.m. at the MTM Center on 18 School Street in Lisbon Falls.
The rain date is Oct. 29.
Free activities include a family pumpkin carving contest with cash prizes. Judging begins at 3:45 p.m.

There will also be pie eating contests at 4:30 p.m. for kids and adults, as well as activities run by local nonprofit groups including a cake walk, pumpkin decorating, tattoo parlor, spider web toss, face painting, cupcake tower, ring toss, mystery boxes and more.
Members of Lewiston’s Jr. hockey team, the L/A Nordiques, will be on hand with an inflatable shoots target game and game ticket prizes. RMT Farms of Litchfield will have an emu and alpaca for petting.
“The Lisbon Harvest Festival is a great community event that offers fun activities for the whole family while also helping our local nonprofits,” Sabrina Mendoza Quispe of Sabina’s Custom Cakes, who is donating pies for pie-eating contests, said in a press release.
