In their commentary, Sen. Tom Saviello and Rep. Lance Harvell write that statewide Question 1 is a “gift horse,” the implication perhaps being that we citizens shouldn’t look too closely at the details.
The fine print, restricting the casino license to one particular developer, suggests a better equine metaphor: a Trojan horse.
