Ranked-choice voting is the most convoluted, ill-conceived idea brought forth by Gov. LePage-hating losers who would have you believe their candidate should have won. The idea of putting forth ranked-choice voting to an uniformed electorate is totally asinine and will always be voted in the negative.
Attorney General Janet Mills has said that ranked-choice voting is unconstitutional. The supporters of the referendum did a poor job researching it; it was brought forth by the LePage-haters, who would have melted into the woodwork had their candidate for governor won. We are, and will be, a people governed by the principle “one man, one vote.”
