Authors Souliere, Vietze will give talks at library

The Wells Public Library will offer the following programs this week at 1434 Post Road:

An author talk with Michelle Souliere will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Souliere has been writing about Maine oddities for years in her blog “Strange Maine.”

Random Fandom for fifth- through eighth-graders will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Youths can make crafts, eat snacks and talk about the theme “Marvel Universe.”

A Lunch and Learn talk with author Andrew Vietze will be held Friday at noon. Vietze will discuss his work as a ranger at Baxter State Park, history and the outdoors.

Church holds Hymn Sing featuring organ, piano

The First Congregational Church of Kennebunkport will hold a Hymn Sing and Hymn Preludes concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at 141 North St.

Music director Joyce Painter Rice will accompany the hymns and play hymn arrangements on the organ and piano.
